Water and wastewater asset management

21 July, 2006 | Wallingford Software

Wallingford Software has released version 3.5 of InfoNet, an asset and data management system for the water industry which covers water supply, water distribution, wastewater collection, sewers and stormwater networks. InfoNet enables users to store, validate, review, clean, edit, analyse and report on all their infrastructure asset data held in a single database, to improve both planning and operational decision making.

Gas analysis in combustion processes

21 July, 2006 | Emerson

The Rosemount Analytical OxyBalance oxygen display and averaging system is used for improving gas analysis in large combustion applications. It provides vital oxygen (O2) data that helps operators set ideal fuel-to-air ratios and effectively balance individual burners or sets of burners. The system provides both the averaging and burner variability information that is critical to operators - ultimately minimising wasted resources and optimising plant efficiency.

Ammonia analyser

21 July, 2006 | Thomson Environmental Systems

The Teledyne API M201E extractive gas analyser is capable of measuring NH3 in selectable ranges 0-50 to 0-2000 ppb using the chemiluminescence principle and a specifically designed external ammonia converter.

Mobile pump

20 July, 2006

Selwood Pumps' D150 Rapid Response pump set is a good combination of performance, efficiency, quietness, compactness, lightweight, mobility and environmental friendliness.

Pump stations for waste handling

20 July, 2006 | All Pumps Sales & Service

Architects, builders, engineers and other professionals planning works involving the transfer of waste products from below a sewerage line can overcome the lack of gravity feed by using packaged pump stations.

Sampling pumps

20 July, 2006 | Javac Pty Ltd

Diaphragm pumps from KNF Neuberger, Germany, are designed for all types of monitoring systems including environmental monitoring systems.

Calibration software

20 July, 2006 | Thermo Fisher Scientific

Intecal is a calibration management software platform developed to maintain and control a calibration environment to a high standard of metrology. The software has been adapted for both the calibration laboratory and the process industry, especially where digital pressure calibrators and/or portable calibrators are used to calibrate and validate pressure sensors, transducers, gauges, pressure switches and plant instrumentation.

Field spectrophotometer

19 June, 2006 | Scientific Solutions Pty Ltd

The PG Instruments T100 portable field spectrometer is designed to take laboratory performance analyses into the field, while retaining the full capability for data storage and retrieval.

Mobile shredding

19 June, 2006 | ITs Green

IT's Green and Evans Engineering have developed several mobile shredding applications.

Counter for monitoring wastewater outflows

19 June, 2006 | Innovec Controls Pty Ltd

The CO48 Powered Totalisor is an intelligent counter that generates a total on its 8 digit 10 mm character height LED display from a contact closure or voltage source input. All functions of the instrument are programmable from the front panel by touch buttons with tactile feedback. Variables are stored in EEPROM memory.

Coriolis flowmeters

19 June, 2006 | Emerson

The smart safety instrumented system (SIS) from Emerson Process Management has been enhanced with TÜV certification of the Micro Motion SIS Coriolis meters. This certification allows users to boost plant availability by using the Micro Motion Coriolis flow and density measurement technology in safety instrumented systems in up to SIL-3 loops, per IEC 61508.

Automated continuous flow analysis

19 June, 2006 | Ai Scientific Pty Ltd

The Bran+Luebbe Quaatro is an automated continuous flow analysis (CFA) system.

Cutters for waste handling system

19 June, 2006 | Eximo

Eximo Cutters have been designed to work with all Eximo ducting systems for print and paper industry waste (paper and cardboard), plastic and films, at high flow rates.

Polystyrene compaction

19 June, 2006 | Wastech Engineering Pty Ltd

The Runi polystyrene recycling compaction equipment, which will be on show at The Safety In Action and Materials & Manual Handling show, achieves compression ratios of 50:1. In fact, 300 kg of polystyrene waste emerges from the machinery just 1 m3 in size. The Runi equipment complements Wastech's Bramidian low profile plastic and cardboard balers.
