Wastewater treatment system approved for Victoria

Wednesday, 02 June, 2010

The AdvanTex AX20 on-site wastewater treatment system has been approved for sale in Victoria.

The EPA approval for the recirculating textile filter was received in May and Innoflow Australia has a list of people to be trained as approved installers, as well as direct enquiries for systems in Victoria.

The AdvanTex, which has been assessed by Ecospecifier and met requirements for listing, will be assembled locally in Melbourne.

As well as providing consistently high levels of treatment under diverse flows, a key benefit of the system is the low power usage. The estimated annual power cost for a 4-person household with average wastewater flows is $28 per annum (additional $90 per annum if the Orenco UV disinfection system is required, for sensitive sites).

While new to Australia, there have been over 20,000 AdvanTex AX20s installed worldwide over the last 10 years.
