A joint venture between Copa Water and Everhard Industries has seen the development of a small-sized CDS unit. The PL0506 CDS Gross Pollutant Trap, or as it has been nicknamed, 'The Nipper', is made from pre-moulded polymer. Apart from treating stormwater the design has already been proposed for a further application in the pre-treatment of grey-water for a large scale water reuse project in Melbourne.

The Eco-Care grey wastewater diverter system is a compact (1/3 m2), semi-automatic system that works by collecting water from a household's shower, bath and washing machine. When the wastewater is diverted into the system, the pump is activated, pumping the grey water to the garden and lawn.
