Plastic milk bottle wash and recycling facility for NZ South Island

A world-class commercial plastic milk bottle wash and recycling facility, serving communities across the whole of the South Island of New Zealand,  has been officially opened by the Hon Dr Nick Smith, Minister for the Environment. The plant was commissioned in August and is now processing 600 kg of milk bottles per hour or 100,000 bottles per day.

The Model 200 Personal Environmental Monitor is a lightweight personal sampler for collecting airborne particles in the PM2.5 and PM10 size ranges. PM2.5 and PM10 particles are airborne particles less than 2.5 and 10 µm, respectively.
