Centre showcases solar technology

Solar technologies that have never before been used in Australia were unveiled this month by Peter Garrett, the Federal Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, as part of the new $3.1 million Desert Knowledge Australia Solar Centre in the desert town of Alice Springs.

The event is supported by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development and the German Ministry of Economics and Technology.
