Mobile water services fleet expands in Oceania
Veolia is expanding its mobile water services fleet in Oceania as part of the company’s GreenUp strategic program — a global initiative to accelerate ecological transformation.
The expanded fleet will help organisations enhance water efficiency and reduce environmental impact through rapidly deployable, high-performance water treatment solutions.
Veolia’s mobile water treatment portfolio includes clarification, filtration, reverse osmosis and ion exchange technologies through a diverse fleet of mobile Actiflo clarifiers, Hydrotech disc filters and ZeeWeed ultrafiltration membranes.
These flexible, modular mobile assets are designed to address a wide range of water treatment challenges, from emergency response and planned maintenance to long-term augmentation of existing plant capacity.
The existing submerged ultrafiltration systems complement Veolia’s suite of mobile water treatment solutions, enhancing its ability to meet diverse water treatment needs.
These energy-efficient, high recovery systems use the ZeeWeed Ultrafiltration Hollow-Fiber Membranes to deliver high-quality water treatment within a compact footprint.
With high solids tolerance among hollow fibre membranes, these ultrafiltration systems are suitable as a pre-treatment step in the reverse osmosis process or as standalone filtration in industrial and municipal applications.
“Operators today need water treatment solutions that are both effective and adaptable,” said Christopher Harpham, SVP for Veolia’s water technology activities in Oceania. “With this expansion, we have increased our service and operations capacity on the field to help customers meet stricter water quality standards and support industries across Australia and New Zealand to manage water more efficiently and responsibly.”
