'Doing Sustainability' forum
The author of Cannibals with Forks, John Elkington from SustainAbility Ltd, will be a keynote speaker at a one-day forum titled 'Doing Sustainability: Moving from How to Why' to be run in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, 2 to 5 May.
John Elkington will look at how challenges like corporate governance, corporate citizenship and corporate social responsibility are being converted from principles to practices. Other speakers on the day will be Baroness Barbara Young from the UK Environment Agency, who will give a government perspective, Pamela Hartigan from Schwab Foundation who will give an entrepreneurial perspective and Richard Murray from Swiss Re who will give a financial perspective. Debra Dunn from Hewlett Packard and Sam Mostyn and David Smith from Insurance Australia Group will also be speaking.
