Gill Instruments MetPak weather stations and wind sensors

Gill Instruments is now offering MetPak multisensory weather stations configured with remote wind sensors. Developed to cater to users’ exact weather measurement requires, the bundles deliver high-quality data and reliability.

The offer includes MetPak and MetPak Pro base station units which feature Gill’s latest ultrasonic technology, providing users with comprehensive weather monitoring systems. Lightweight and compact, the systems are completely solid-state and offer high reliability in challenging environments.

Capable of monitoring multiple weather parameters, the product provides precision meteorological data including air temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, dewpoint and wind speed and direction. The multiparameter weather station features an onboard barometric pressure sensor and a Roronic Hygroclip HC2-S3 temperature/humidity probe housed in a naturally aspirated radiation shield.

MetPak Pro is a professional weather system offering an extension to the weather monitoring capabilities of the MetPak with additional precipitation measurement, PRT input and a further two analog inputs to connect to a vast array of third-party sensors.

Each of the base stations included in the package can be integrated with a 2- or 3-axis wind sensor covering a variety of key functionalities such a high wind speed measurement up to 75 m/s, 3-axis data outputs and optional heating capabilities.

Gill has a range of ultrasonic wind sensors suitable for use in extreme operating environments where easy installation, minimal maintenance and highly accurate data collection is critical.
