Australian environmental technology company SiteHive has launched SiteHive Weather, a system that integrates hyper-local weather monitoring directly into its environmental monitoring platform.
The system combines onsite weather monitoring with the SiteHive Enviro platform, creating a single source that brings together weather, dust, noise, vibration and water data in one cloud-based system.
Key capabilities of the system include hyper-local weather monitoring integrated with environmental data; automated alerts for rainfall, wind speed and wet bulb temperature; historical weather records to support compliance reporting and investigations; integrated reporting across weather and environmental datasets; and automated site imagery every 15 minutes to verify site conditions.
By connecting these datasets, environmental professionals can better understand the factors influencing monitoring results, identify emerging risks earlier, mitigate the environmental impacts and provide stronger evidence to regulators, project owners and local communities.
Historical weather records are also captured automatically, supporting environmental investigations, compliance reporting and project reviews without requiring users to access multiple systems.
