Flowmeter for the water industry

The Water Master flowmeters are specifically designed for the water, wastewater and sewage markets. The range is available in the most commonly installed flowmeter sizes: 40-300 mm.

The unit incorporates an octagonal sensor design. This improves flow profile and reduces up- and down-stream piping requirements. By using a higher excitation frequency combined with advanced filtering, the unit also improves measurement accuracy by reducing fluid and electrode noise.

All the sensors are rugged, robust and inherently submersible (IP68, NEMA 6P) as standard, ensuring suitability for installation in chambers and metering pits which are liable to flooding.

Another feature of the sensor is that all sizes are buriable; installation merely involves excavating to the underground pipe, fitting the sensor, cabling to the transmitter and then backfilling the hole.

The backlit, graphical display can be easily rotated through 270° without the need for any tools, allowing field teams to customise the display that best fits their needs. ‘Through-the-glass’ control allows a local operator interface to input short, quick data for all user-specific parameters.

Digital signal processing allows the transmitter to separate the real signal from the noise, thereby providing high-quality outputs — especially in harsh environments involving vibration, hydraulic noise and temperature fluctuations.

‘Fit and Flow’ data storage inside the unit eliminates the need to match the sensor and the transmitter in the field.
