ADC BioScientific OS5p chlorophyll fluorometer
The ADC BioScientific OS5p portable pulse-modulated chlorophyll fluorometer is used for the detailed analysis of plant stress.
Using the pulse modulation measurement technique and weighing 1.4 kg, the battery-operated unit provides up to 20 h of continuous field use from a single battery charge.
Field experimental programming is easily performed via a touch-screen keypad. Automatic test modes enable an extensive range of both dark adapted and ambient experiments to be conducted including yield, photochemical and non-photochemical quenching, Fv/Fm and OJIP.
Experimental data is clearly presented on a large backlit graphic display. The fluorometer features both 1 Gb of internal memory and removable smart cards for data storage.
The unit has been specifically designed as a complete field system to analyse and research plants under environmental stresses including temperature, pollution, water and nutrient deficiencies.
