Low emission invention yields fast growth

Biolytix has been announced as the biggest mover on the "Q400 List' of Queensland's leading private companies, surging past 95 other businesses.

The Biolytix Sewage Treatment System cuts energy use by 90%. The company has grown from five to 55 staff in three years, and has 205 accredited sales representatives and installers in Australia and New Zealand.

According to the EPA, sewage treatment often comprises the largest use of electricity by local governments.
