Waste consultancy appoints new director
A.Prince Consulting (APC) has appointed a new project director, Mark Jackson, who had previously been leading the waste and recycling investment package for the NSW Environment Protection Authority.
Mark brings more than 20 years of skills and expertise to the APC team, and will now offer council and business clients advice on the Waste Less Recycle More suite of grants available in NSW, EPA licensing requirements, project and program evaluation as well as community education and behaviour-change programs.
Anne Prince, managing director of APC, said: “With the Waste Less Recycle More grants available, many medium and larger businesses need external support and guidance to maximise this unique opportunity, and with the new waste regulations in NSW there are many smaller firms that need support to obtain an EPA licence for their facility.
“Mark has been a leader in the NSW Environment Protection Authority and has been responsible for developing and managing the largest ever waste and recycling infrastructure program in the country,” said Prince.
“His experience in programs and regulation will help councils, businesses and community-based organisations comply with the new waste laws, which are being phased in over the next 12 months. He can provide strategic advice on seeking grant funding under the NSW EPA’s Waste Less Recycle More initiative. No-one knows more about this program than Mark.”
