Signal isolator

The ISCX1 is a signal isolator that accepts a 4-20 mA with an input impedance of 50W or 0-10 VDC with an input impedance of 1 MW and provides an isolated output signal of 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC with an accuracy of 0.1%. The standard instrument provides three-way galvanic isolation with a minimum of 500 VDC from the input signal to the output signal as well as power supply isolation. The output is completely independent and can be scaled for different applications. Final calibration is achieved using the front-of-instrument, accessible, 15-turn, zero and span potentiometers.

Applications include using the unit as an interface module to isolate process signals between plant equipment, PLCs and digital control systems.

The module is supplied in a DIN rail mount enclosure of 50 mm wide x 75 mm high x 110 mm deep that can also be equipment plate mounted and is powered from 120/240 VAC or 18-36 VDC.
