Mueller plate heat exchangers can be assembled to suit user requirements. Each exchanger is selected using software to match the specific performance requirements of individual applications. The units also incorporate an expandable design enabling an increase of heat transfer surface area without any changes to the unit footprint.

Available in multistage units to suit all heating, cooling, regeneration and pasteurising requirements, double wall plates are also available to enhance integrity for processing critical quality products and increasing assurance against product/service fluid cross-contamination. There is also a full range of fittings and connections including BSM/RJT, BSP, Triclover, Table Flange ANSI Flange and Camlock.

The selection includes a range of stainless steel units which provide the option of hygienic and maintenance-free heat exchangers. The advantages over traditional powder-coated frames include aesthetics, elimination of painting, corrosion resistance and sanitary finish.

The heat exchangers are used in many industries including: food, dairy, carbonated beverage, poultry and egg, meat, brewing, distillery, winery, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic and agricultural industries.

Cleanliness and hygiene go hand in hand, and the heat exchangers have been designed to make cleaning as easy and thorough as possible. The external end plates feature streamlined, wipe-clean surfaces with hard powder-coated or stainless steel finish.
