Energy-efficient lighting

The Nimbus LED.next lighting claims to deliver energy savings of up to 70% compared with conventional fluorescent and incandescent lighting and is claimed to be more than twice as energy efficient as low-voltage halogen lighting.

Producing a high light output (white) and running at safe-to-touch low temperatures, the lighting requires no maintenance and has a long life of up to 50,000 hours.

100% recyclable and containing no mercury, the lighting can be installed in almost any commercial or residential location and can be suspended from or mounted onto any surface, including concrete, steel, laminate or wood.

The LED technology has also been applied to motion sensitive dimming for ceiling lighting, a slimline desk lamp and a range of waterproof lighting designed for bathrooms and outdoors.

With the lower energy consumption and maintenance benefits of Nimbus LED.next lighting, the average 20-30% higher purchase cost is said to be recovered after approximately six months (in most installations).
