Wastech Engineering is Casey Cardinia Business of the Year
Waste management company Wastech Engineering has come out on top in Melbourne’s Casey Cardinia Business Awards, winning two awards that demonstrate the hard work that has gone into putting in place the vision for the company.
The Casey Cardinia Business Awards are considered one of the region’s flagship business development programs that celebrate the outstanding achievements of local organisations and businesses. The winners of this year’s awards were announced at a gala dinner held at the Cranbourne Racing Club on 22 October.
Wastech Engineering not only won Business of the Year 2015, but also the Manufacturing Award. The awards recognise the company’s efforts to consolidate its place in the waste management marketplace both in Australia and overseas, with Wastech’s latest project being a custom waste solution to be installed in Saudi Arabia in the next few months.
“This is a business where we have not lost sight of our origins; we maintain the values and energy that created this company at the core of what we do,” said Wastech CEO Brett Jones. “Everyone is focused on striving for excellence, and being awarded Business of the Year is an honour for all of us.”
