Company in final acquisition negotiations

Pacific Environment Limited is in discussions with EcoVision Solutions and Commerical Energy Services about the possible acquisition of both companies.

EcoVision is the developer and owner of a real-time electricity, water and gas usage monitoring system, which was used in EcoVillage at Currumbin. Commerical Energy Services helps clients manage their energy demands and the implications of their energy use on carbon emissions.

Both acquisitions would further strengthen the company’s capabilities in energy, carbon and emissions risk management.

If the acquisitions proceed they are expected to be completed during the second half of 2008. Term sheets have been signed by both parties of both companies and due diligence investigations are underway.
