The Dimension 4i from LDS Test and Measurement is a data acquisition system that combines high-speed, gap-free data recording with real-time FFT analysis. The time and frequency domain system brings together the technologies of Nicolet, Gould and Dactron.

Sweeter smell for wastewater

18 December, 2007

A UK water-company project is using natural elements such as bark, wood chips, seaweed and seashells lining water-filled tanks to provide a solution to a smelly problem - the unpleasant odour that can come from wastewater treatment works

Mass flowmeters

23 November, 2007 | Supplied by: AMS Instrumentation & Calibration Pty Ltd

The ST series flowmeter is designed for rugged environments typically found in the oil/gas, chemical, electric power, pulp/paper and wastewater treatment industries and applications. Its no moving parts, non-clogging flow sensing element provides direct mass flow output and features built-in temperature compensation. It is suitable for use in a wide range of process and plant gas applications, including compressed air, hydrocarbon gases and inert gases. The ST98 flowmeter has a reliable thermal mass flow sensor in a smart electronics package. It operates over a wide flow range from 0.21 to 172 NMPS in air with a standard flow accuracy of ±1% of reading, ±0.5% of full scale. It is suitable for a wide range of air/gas flow measurement applications, including natural gas or methane monitoring, compressed air metering, industrial HVAC systems, nitrogen blanketing and combustion air.
