EnviroEquip has announced the release of the In-Situ Aqua Troll 200, the first in a line of water quality instruments that monitor and log conductivity, level/pressure and temperature in the harshest environments.

It is designed to combat fouling and conserve power and is built to extend deployment. It also has power on external 8-36 VDC or internal batteries that are guaranteed for 5 years when logging in 15 min intervals.

Features of the device include: rugged; corrosion resistant; titanium construction; 18.3 mm diameter; telemetry ready; standard outputs of Modbus/RS485, SDI-12 and 4-20 mA; 4 MB memory that stores up to 200,000 data points.

Standard logging modes include linear, fast linear, linear average and event testing with sampling rates as fast as 1/s. The user can select between gauged or absolute depth models with ranges up to 351 m.

The device is suitable for demanding marine, surface and ground water applications. Other applications include: saltwater intrusion projects; tide gauge monitoring; wetlands applications; ground water monitoring; estuary projects; surface water monitoring; discharge monitoring; landslide prediction; aquifer storage and recovery.
