Amston filter presses are suitable for use in industrial wastewater treatment plants including food processing, paint manufacturers, electroplaters and chemical manufacturers as well as mineral processing and power station water treatment plants. They are also used in municipal potable water treatment plants for sand filter and membrane filtration backwash water dewatering.

The installation of an Amston filter press is claimed to reduce liquid sludge/slurry to a solid cake, reducing the sludge volume by up to 90%. They are suitable for small trade waste plants that operate DAF systems, clarifiers, sedimentation tanks, chemical reactors and biological plants.

The Amston range of filter presses includes manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic systems. A large range of filter sizes is available to accommodate any capacity, whether it is a small trade waste plant or high loading mining application.
