Waste rippers

Satrind T200 and T400 waste rippers are used to process bulky hard waste or household waste to a form that allows it to be used as an alternative fuel stream or for further processing such as optical separation or sorting.

The waste ripper has a two counter rotating and alternating shredding shafts system. The cutting action takes place on both sides of the shafts, near the centre, in between the two shafts as well as between each shaft and the sidewall. With adjustable counter blades on both the sidewalls as well as a centre beam, the gaps between the rotating shaft cutters and the stationary cutters can be adjusted for each single shredding area. Areas of high use, generally the centre, can be adjusted independently from the lower work areas of the shredding shafts. With individual loose cutters and spacers, they can be resharpened or replaced.

With an up to 3 m long in-feed opening, 200 or 400 hp (150-300 kW) and up to 40 t/h processing speed, the waste rippers are a low noise, low maintenance, efficient way of further processing waste.

The waste rippers are used for bulky waste, bagged waste or green waste.
