UV disinfection/sterilisation

The UVTA Terminator series UV units will kill disease-causing bacteria and viruses in water. It is used for UV disinfection/sterilisation for water and treated effluent.

The G36 XUV-16 Terminator unit will disinfect up to 24 L/s of water or 12 L/s of treated effluent; electrical power consumption is 1.4 kW.

The G64 XUV-16 Terminator unit will disinfect up to 34 L/s of water or 24 L/s of treated effluent; electrical power consumption is 2.8 kW.

Advantages of the unit include: do not use any fragile, easily fouled quartz sleeves to encase the UV lamps; all have air cooling systems to maintain the optimum UV lamp skin temperature; units are rugged; no short circuiting can occur; no wipers, scraping devices or acid required; ease of installation via 150 mm inlet and outlet stub flanges; and units are Australian built.
