Optical dissolved oxygen sensor
The YSI ROX is a luminescent-based dissolved oxygen sensor which enables users to make long-term oxygen measurements in severe fouling and low oxygen environment. It features a self-cleaning, wiper system to provide anti-fouling in even the most hostile environments.
The sensor is backwards compatible with existing YSI sondes fitted with an optical port. It offers long-term unattended monitoring with a mechanical wiper, zero flow dependence, a maintenance-free and puncture-proof membrane, and it is insensitive to H2S gases. Its rugged design and large measurement range make it suitable for profiling, sampling, flow cell and groundwater measurements.
