Water trading could help Australia adapt to climate change

Water trading is one of the tools the water resource sector will use to adapt to the effects of climate change.

Mark Bartley from legal firm DLA Phillips Fox will discuss water trading, water management plans and the way water management regimes will be modified through state legislative reforms as the National Water Initiative is implemented at the EcoForum Resource Security and Climate Change conference stream on the Gold Coast on 27 February 2008.

Resource security and climate change is one of nine conference streams to be held over three days from 27 to 29 February.

The EcoForum Conference & Exhibition is a national event that includes a trade show of 27 exhibitors, an art exhibition on contamination remediation and site rehabilitation and plenty of networking with environment industry colleagues during morning and afternoon refreshments, lunches, a happy hour each day and the EcoForum dinner.

Although the registration form says registration will close on 15 February, this has been extended and you may now register right up until the day of the event.
