SITA Environmental Solutions’ (SITA) parent company, Suez Environnement, has joined the FTSE4Good Index. It has been included in the index for the quality of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance by the Etnifinance, French correspondent of Eiris (Ethical Investment Research) rating agency, an international expert in responsible performance.

Launched by the FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange) in 2001, the FTSE4Good is a benchmark index that brings together companies considered to be socially responsible based on internationally recognised standards. It consists of 718 stocks chosen from among companies listed in the FTSE Global Equity indexes.

The inclusion of Suez Environnement in the FTSE4Good index demonstrates the Group’s commitment to evaluating and managing its environmental, social and societal impacts. Suez Environnement is also included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World, Dow Jones Sustainability Europe, ASPI Eurozone and Ethibel Sustainability Excellence Europe indexes.

Suez Environnement’s inclusion in these indexes particularly underlines the firm’s performance in terms of sustainable protection of the environment, through the noticed improvements about its commitments in sustainable development policy and the transparency of its non-financial communication.
