Specialist water division formed
In a move designed to reinforce its sustainability credentials across a broad range of building and development areas, Bonacci Group has formed a new operating division called Bonacci Water.
The division is being headed by recently appointed director, Dr Peter Coombes. Coombes’ role will be to build and manage Bonacci Water, focusing on providing strategic advice, and innovative water design and sustainability solutions to all levels of government and business.
As much as 60% of the division’s activities will revolve around work for federal, state and local governments and associated bodies, with the balance addressing water issues in the business sector.
“I’ll also continue to conduct research while developing and implementing new methods of analysis, while raising awareness of Bonacci Water as an independent authority in the water industry,” Coombes said.
“We are keen to establish ourselves at the forefront of environmental and sustainable design solutions, and all levels of government are now recognising the importance of dealing with climate variability and scarce water resources.”
