The national environmental engineering contractor Enviropacific has acquired the Adelaide-based firm Remediate.

Enviropacific Managing Director Matt Fensom said: “We have known and worked with the directors of Remediate for some time and have particularly high regard for their areas of expertise and the quality of projects that they have delivered.”

The acquisition is part of the strategic plan to broaden the reach of Enviropacific that now has offices in Adelaide, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Remediate has conducted a range of complex projects in the state. Enviropacific will be looking to expand on Remediate’s excellent industry reputation and deliver a wider range of services to the SA market.

All Remediate projects have focused on the application of innovative technologies and sustainability, including Australia’s first carbon-neutral remediation project.

“We will continue to work with the directors to incorporate innovative technologies into our projects across all states,'' Fensom said.

Managing Director of Remediate Dr Richard Stewart said: "We are looking forward to continuing our strong relationship with EPS.

“This will include supplying products and services for suitable projects through our technology marketing company, Ziltek Pty Ltd.”
