National Water Week is designed to assist communities to take actions that help protect and conserve our most precious resource - water. The week provides special emphasis on fostering grassroots participation and behavioural change, and consists of a national schedule of programs and events that encourage protection, rehabilitation and improvement of water environments.

Businesses, community groups, schools and councils are encouraged to run events and activities to promote waterway protection and water conservation. If you are interested in finding our more about running an event, you can log on to the National Water Week website at www.nationalwaterweek.org.au and visit the Events section. This section provides all of the information you need to organise your own event. You can also register your event so that if features on the National Water Week calendar.

National Water Week is managed by the Australian Water Association (AWA) in partnership with the National Water Commission, and exists with the support of the water industry and organisations who seek to promote the messages of sustainable water use and management. This year, Grundfos Pumps has come on board as a Silver Sponsor of National Water Week.

In addition to supporting National Water Week, Grundfos Pumps has been working to endorse sustainable water use practices through its sponsorship of the Water Conservation category of Keep Australia Beautiful Tidy Towns and Sustainable Cities awards programs.

Grundfos Pumps Marketing Manager Tiffany Bermingham said, “Working together with organisations such as Keep Australia Beautiful and initiatives such as National Water Week, we hope to provide a clear, concise and consistent water conservation message to the community, and help deliver a sustainable Australian environment for generations to come.”
