Entries open for sustainability awards
The savewater! Alliance is calling for all regional and rural businesses around Australia to enter the national 2009 savewater! awards.
The Regional & Rural Award recognises outstanding water savings achieved by the manufacturing, primary production and retail/wholesale sectors in regional and rural areas.
“The water-saving efforts achieved by our regional communities is to be commended; we recognise that these communities have gone above and beyond in working together to conserve and sustain our precious water resource,” said Michael Smit, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the savewater! Alliance Inc.
“So whether you’re a small or large regional/rural business, we want to hear about your achievements in conserving water.”
