Eco Expo Asia - an international success
Companies from Hong Kong and all over the world exhibited at Eco Expo Asia, an environmental protection trade fair organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) and Messe Frankfurt. The expo was held in October at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
Around 130 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions participated in the expo, including exhibitors from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and the Asia-Pacific, as well as from Canada, Germany, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US.
Exhibits consisted of a wide range of products and services including: solar heating; recycled products; composting techniques; biodegradable packaging; biochemical oil; air purifiers; waste water treatments; solid waste solutions etc.
Of the 4498 visitors, 1812 of those came from overseas countries.
The fair coincided with stepped up efforts in Hong Kong and on the Chinese mainland to clean up the environment and encourage industrialists to work greener and smarter.
