Central Highlands Water selects MWH Global for engineering support services

Central Highlands Water has awarded its engineering support services contract to MWH Global from January 2013 for an initial period of three years.

Central Highlands Water delivers water and wastewater services to approximately 130,000 residents in more than 60 locations throughout the central and western regions of Victoria. MWH will partner with Central Highlands Water to ensure experienced and skilled staff value add to the performance of the business in asset management, planning, design and construction services to ensure high-quality customer service outcomes are maintained.

“We are looking to collaborate with Central Highlands Water to provide and transfer knowledge and expertise in program and project management to optimise its procurement practices and deliver business efficiencies,” said Peter Robinson, Business Development and Strategy Manager, Water Sector, MWH.

The Managing Director of Central Highlands Water, Paul O’Donohue, said, “MWH was chosen as the organisation’s preferred engineering service provider to deliver increased customer and shareholder value by maintaining CHW’s commitment to providing excellence in customer service standards whilst identifying and reducing costs.

“CHW looks forward to the close working relationship with MWH and its team of professionals to deliver these outcomes.”
