With its Wavenis wireless technology, Coronis Systems products claim some of the farthest direct wireless connections in the industry. Still, some real-world scenarios require longer range than individual endpoints can achieve. In order to connect the most remote devices back to a network's main concentrator or gateway, the user may have to use repeaters.

Coronis Wavetalk gives the user the flexibility to deploy data collection and monitoring networks to suit any topology. With its 500 mW transmitter, the long-range version of the device provides reliable data connections over distances of up to several kilometres.

Features of the device include:

  • extends wireless range of Wavenis-powered endpoints;
  • long- and medium-range versions;
  • up to 4 km line-of-sight connections;
  • tree, star and mesh network topologies;
  • keeps infrastructure costs down.
