IFS Zero agentic emissions operating system

Thursday, 04 June, 2026 | Supplied by: Infosys Australia

IFS, a provider of industrial AI software, has launched IFS Zero, an agentic emissions operating system designed for asset-intensive industries.

The system provides a single, unified calculation platform that enables organisations to measure, disclose and optimise their carbon emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 categories.

Purpose-built for carbon emissions management and created through consultation with customers in asset-intensive industries, IFS Zero works together with the company’s broader Sustainability Management module for corporate sustainability reporting.

The operating system provides granular, real-time emissions intelligence using agentic AI across the entire data lifecycle — mapping sources, validating data, flagging anomalies and producing audit-ready outputs — so sustainability teams can spend less time on administration and more time driving decarbonisation.

It can provide an audit-ready baseline in weeks, saving hours of operational time annually, and provide a 30% reduction in data collection effort.

IFS Zero launches alongside IFS Cloud 26R1, which provides targeted enhancements across Enterprise Resource Planning, Service Management, Enterprise Asset Management and Aviation Maintenance — adding control and traceability.
