Intellisocket smart power outlet is launching soon
There is a plethora of energy-monitoring devices that will help users monitor their home energy consumption: plug-in meters, clamp meters, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, USB, etc. Sayve Technologies has now developed Intellisocket - a smart power outlet that offers energy monitoring, home automation and style in one device.
The product removes the need for separate connection infrastructure and makes use of the user’s existing home Wi-Fi network. This means set-up is easy and there is no need for an additional gateway. With simple control from a computer or smartphone, trip and fire hazards can be eliminated. Safety features include child lock and overcurrent protection.
Energy data and status information is sent from the power outlet to the Intellisocket Cloud software, which monitors, reports and triggers alerts that can be sent to the user’s phone or viewed from their online dashboard. By analysing and profiling the energy patterns of commonly plugged-in devices, the software can recommend a personalised power schedule to help the user start saving. All you need to do is click ‘Apply’.
