Industrias partners with Microgrid Power to maintain solar
Wednesday, 07 May, 2025
Industrias has partnered with renewable energy provider Microgrid Power to provide maintenance services for the company’s commercial solar microgrid installations across Australia.
Initially comprising 37 shopping centres with plans to add 90 additional properties, this collaboration supports Microgrid Power’s business model, which transforms energy from a cost into an asset for commercial property owners.
By installing solar on existing rooftops and sharing income with asset owners, is it said that Microgrid Power can create passive revenue streams with zero upfront investment from clients.
As the maintenance partner, Industrias will provide system performance across Microgrid Power installations, reinforcing the importance of specialised maintenance services, as even a 1% efficiency loss in a 2 MW system can impact revenue generation for all stakeholders.
“We chose Industrias because, firstly, they have a great reputation and are all the things that we value in our own company,” Geoff Anson, Chief Sales & Strategy Officer at Microgrid, said. “In our business, we have a small expert team, and we select appropriate partners that share our ideas, our goals and our brand values. Essentially, we look to partner with the best-in-class organisations, of which Industrias was one great example.”
This partnership is said to provide a “maintenance first” approach, putting performance, reliability and customer partnership at the centre of the solar energy lifecycle.
