Energy Action launches online client portal
Energy management consultancy firm Energy Action has launched an online portal which enables its clients to view their energy usage data, analytics and reports at the touch of a button. Energy Action CEO Scott Wooldridge said the portal, powered by the company’s Activ8 technology, “delivers complex energy usage data in a simple and intuitive way”.
By entering the portal through http://clientportal.energyaction.com.au/, Contract Management & Energy Reporting Gold Clients can immediately view their entire portfolio and site list, as well as review energy usage data and analytics by portfolio, region or site. Clients can also see how much energy a site has used compared to the previous year, how much the energy has cost year on year, and their monthly energy consumption and cost at a glance.
Key energy statistics like CO2 emissions, peak demand and power factor are all readily available, along with an energy bill breakdown, cases under management and any credits achieved or savings identified through Energy Action’s bill validation or network tariff review service. The portal’s functions are all easily accessible for ad hoc report generation and data analysis.
Wooldridge said the client portal is Energy Action’s “first foray into big data analytics”. After the initial rollout of phase 1, further upgrades are scheduled to ensure the design and functionality of the portal remains dynamic to meet the future energy management needs of larger energy users.
“This platform provides us with a strong foundation to provide additional premium service offerings to our clients, and we have an aggressive strategy to build solutions that capitalise on the significant energy markets data we have within our organisation,” Wooldridge said.
