Award for Greensense View real-time monitoring system
The Greensense View system that provides real-time monitoring and feedback on water and energy use has been awarded the Best Product category at the WA Information Technology and Telecommunication Awards (WAITTA, www.waitta.asn.au/).
Buildings are responsible for a fifth of Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions, and Greensense View works by giving buildings a voice, helping them to engage occupants and visitors to conserve energy and water, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Greensense View supports energy efficiency and alternative energy projects in buildings, and showcases sustainability achievements. By turning buildings into teaching tools, Greensense View can encourage sustainability in the wider community.
As a winner in the WAITTA Awards last night, Greensense View will go forward to compete in the IAwards (www.iawards.com.au/), Australia’s premier IT awards, and will be competing in the Sustainability category.
