CCS industry responds to global support program

In an address to delegates attending the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, the Global Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Institute’s CEO Nick Otter announced that it had received over 50 applications for its Project Funding and Support Program. The applications received represent more than AU$500m in assistance sought from CCS project proponents across the world.

US Dept of Energy selects Eaton and HP to improve IT energy efficiency

Eaton has announced that it is collaborating with HP on a federally funded project to improve energy efficiency in information technology (IT) systems. Among the 14 projects chosen by the US Department of Energy, the joint proposal from Eaton and HP was selected as the third-largest grant recipient at US$7.4 million.

Rather like a tennis racquet, each compressor variant has a 'sweet-spot' - defining the duty zone at which the compressor operates with the highest efficiency.
