Microsoft data centre powered by wastewater treatment

A fuel cell power plant installation, recently opened at the Dry Creek Water Reclamation Facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming, utilises renewable biogas as a fuel source to power a nearby Microsoft data centre and supply heat to the facility's wastewater treatment process.


Muradel plant produces crude oil from algae

Renewable fuels company Muradel has opened Australia's first integrated demonstration plant to sustainably convert algae into green crude. The $10.7 million plant, based at Whyalla, South Australia, will produce 30,000 litres of green crude a year using Muradel's Green2Black technology.
