Evoqua Water Technologies has completed its acquisition of Neptune Benson, a manufacturer of water filtration and disinfection products for the recreational, industrial and municipal water markets. The move sees Neptune Benson’s 110 employees, based across four operations in the US and Canada, become part of Evoqua.

Since 1956, Neptune Benson’s filtration and ultraviolet disinfection products have been used in more than 20,000 installations across 45 countries. These products include the Defender regenerative media filter, ETS-UV disinfection system, Vortisand and Legacy sand filters, ProStrainer, Lawson Aquatics and more.

“Neptune Benson’s filtration and disinfection products have been well regarded in the industry and complement Evoqua’s existing businesses and markets served extremely well,” said Evoqua CEO Ron Keating. “This addition is a natural fit for us and consistent with our growth plan to double our business by the end of 2021.”

“We are enthusiastic to join the Evoqua team,” added Ken Rodi, CEO of Neptune Benson. “Not only are our businesses and markets complementary, but so is Evoqua’s commitment to growth, spirit of innovation and focus on helping its customers and partners succeed. This combination is ideal.”
