Bürkert appoints PRTS as NQ distributor
Process solutions provider Bürkert has appointed Pacific Rim Technical Services (PRTS) as its distributor for North Queensland.
Founded more than 20 years ago, Townsville-based PRTS has grown considerably and recently moved into newer and larger premises. This gave the company greater facilities to expand its activities.
“We were actively seeking new opportunities to match our expanded capabilities,” said Greg Fitzgerald, Managing Director of PRTS. “Closer partnership with Bürkert will deliver the best of both worlds - local partnership, service and responsiveness for NQ businesses, backed by the resources of an international company. It’s win-win.”
Bürkert Managing Director Chris Hoey has welcomed the PRTS team, noting that the complementary expertise of each company makes the distributor alliance a good fit for serving the market.
