Designed specifically to detect changes in turbidity as low as 0.0003 NTU (or 0.3 mNTU) the FilterTrak 660 sc provides operators with confidence in their turbidity measurement and plant management.

Hach’s advanced laser optics and signal processing technology make the instrument suitable for membrane filtration and reverse osmosis applications, as well as conventional filtration management. It detects increasing concentrations of sub-micron-sized particles that are a precursor to larger particles. This allows for membrane integrity monitoring, plus early filter deterioration detection that meets or exceeds that of particle counters — all with the day-to-day convenience, simplicity and reliability of a Hach turbidimeter.

Operators can detect impending filter breakthrough, delineate filter ripening and maximise effective filter run time. The FilterTrak sensor uses US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) approved Hach FilterTrak Method #10133, the method specified in the USEPA Lt2 draft guidance manual for compliance monitoring of membrane filters.

Environmental & Process Technologies offers the USEPA-approved Hach StablCal Stabilised Formazin Primary Standards that save time and labour by achieving accurate, low-level calibration with pre-prepared standards available. Also available is the Verification Quick Check, a dry secondary verification standard that allows calibration verification below 0.1 NTU in just 20 s.

The FilterTrak 660 sc sensor is compatible with Hach Multi-Sensor, Multi-Parameter Digital Controllers and may be equipped with wireless communication. A built-in data logger collects measurement data, calibration, verification points and alarm history for up to six months.
