The Evashred Panther industrial shredder is built by New Zealand-based company Evans Engineering. It weighs 3.5 tonnes, is 4.5 m long and stands more than 3.0 m high. The unit is driven by two 40 hp motors with 42,000 Nm of torque, and is designed to munch on truck and car tyres but can also be configured to shred any product.

The design has been improved with a better angle of entry for the product into the shredder at 30°, and increased power available through higher spec 3-stage planetary gearboxes.
