The Impact portable gas detector is the latest generation of Neotronics gas detectors, which allows fixed-cost servicing, ease of calibration without the need for a dedicated computer or system of gas regulators and command modules.
The detectors store their usage history onboard, which is downloadable to PC anytime via the optional download kit. When evidence of compliance to regulations is required, simply connect the detector to download the information.
The detectors are Australian Standards certified for hazardous areas and coal mines, enclosed in IP66/67-rated cases with armoured high-impact Lexan backlit displays and submersion tested to 1 m.
The detectors are available in eight models including the monitor on its own in standard and 'pro' versions and in kit forms.
The kit form of the pro version includes NiMH rechargeable batteries and charger, vibrating alarm, internal sample pump and adapter, belt clip and chest straps, software and manual on CD, download kit, four sensor cartridge pack, base station and data cables.
