Paint recycling service

Wednesday, 23 April, 2008 | Supplied by: PlaceMakers

PlaceMakers has launched an environmental initiative in New Zealand to help customers recycle unwanted paint - providing a solution to an increasing environmental problem.
The intention of the initiative is to make it as easy as possible for customers to reduce the damage that the disposal of waste paint can have on the environment.
All customers need to do is bring any unwanted household paint or stain to any PlaceMakers store and it will take care of it from there.
The service is free of charge for all customers, including trade customers.
Using an innovative recycling process, the waste paint is formulated with raw material to create a new product called Enviropaint. Enviropaints also recycles metal and plastic paint tins.
