The E-Nose Mk3.3 series is a real-time continuous odour monitor for outdoor air quality management in a wide range of industrial contexts, provided by a set of tailored sensor arrays (Models M, S, or I) that can be interchanged within the Mk 3.3.

The unit can be specified as a basic monitor (Mk 3.3.0), or can include confined space sampling and auto-diagnostic functions (Mk 3.3.2). The unit is portable, or it can be located at a fixed point and housed in a robust atmospheric cabinet.

Its uses include being a positional sentinel between an emitting source and a community; an auditing device to determine the reach of odours at distances from a source; and a 'sniffer' to identify and quantify odours in spaces that are confined, difficult or dangerous to enter. Its most recent application, using Model I sensor array, detects the spray paint fumes of graffiti vandals and is finding uses in the built environment of Australian cities.

Fifteen adjustable levels of sensor sensitivity are available. Data is recorded with time and date and can be analysed by various statistical methods. The system can be specified to be interfaced with a SCADA system. Intervals between data samples can be adjusted down to 1/s, for a maximum data set of 10 million readings.

Odour recognition software is available for real-time alerting to emissions of odour from specific sources. A versatile alarm system, an SMS phoned alert message system and data output calibrated to odour units is available.

The system can be supplied with integrated and simultaneous temperature and humidity data or with integrated wind speed and direction data supplied by additional sensors and recorded simultaneously with the odours.
