MicroLogix 1100 microcontroller

The Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1100 controller is a microcontroller complete with online editing functionality. The controller allows program modifications without interrupting operation.

An embedded EtherNet/IP communications port in the MicroLogix 1100 controller enables users to easily share data across a production facility, while eliminating the time and costs associated with network wiring.

In addition, an embedded ethernet web server gives users remote access to control information allowing real-time data to be shared across the plant floor, with OEM partners, or remote maintenance engineers.

The controller can also be used as a remote terminal unit (RTU) for applications using supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).

Additionally, it features a built-in, multi-purpose text LCD to provide basic controller and I/O status information. The display provides the ability to monitor and make changes to bit and integer data values, which in many applications eliminates the need for a standalone operator interface.
