Combined Group has recently launched an alternative to lead flashings for all roofing applications. Wakaflex is a non-lead, flexible, non-toxic and lightweight replacement for all abutments and rising parts of roof structures where lead would have traditionally been used.
The product has many benefits for both installers and homeowners. Installers will be working with a non-toxic, lightweight and highly malleable material that is claimed to reduce installation time by up to 50%. For homeowners there is no more lead contamination of harvested rainwater.
