Festo MHJ valve series

Thursday, 25 March, 2010 | Supplied by: Festo Pty Ltd

The MHJ valve series has the ability to output very short pulses of air, which can result in energy savings and makes it suitable for various applications. It features a long service life and high precision with direct actuation for the shortest switching times of <1 ms, flow rates of 50, 100 and 150 L/min and good repetition accuracy of <0.1 ms.

The valve closes by supply pressure alone (no mechanical spring) and only one moving part is involved when actuated.

The series is available as a single component, manifold or sub-base design and with or without integrated electronics, allowing for a simple interface. A wide variety of options is available, including suspended installation directly in tubing and manifold mounted with common air supply or a specific terminal strip.

Applications include sorting of rice, coffee beans, fresh produce, recycled waste and mineral sorting.
